  • How can we reduce emissions impacts of ocean-going vessels within the port of Long Beach, California?
  • How can we reduce the vulnerability of the electricity system in Texas to extreme cold and heat?
  • What are the most effective strategies for increasing green spaces in disadvantaged communities in Orange County, California?
  • How can we reduce dependence on scarce groundwater resources in Coachella Valley, California?
  • How can groundwater contamination levels in San Joaquin Valley, California be improved to address the health impacts of long-term exposure?
  • How can building materials and building design be optimized in Detroit, Michigan to reduce the effects of the urban heat island effect?
  • How can food insecurity be addressed in San Antonio, Texas with consideration for water scarcity and drought?
  • How can solid waste management issues be remediated with sustainable or smart waste management in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota?
  • How can we reduce the need for public safety power shutoffs in Northern California?
