Interested in exploring honors at UCI? This is a page for students who have been invited to join the Campuswide Honors Program (CHP).
Prospective Freshman Students
We highly recommend that prospective freshmen arrange to attend either Honors Experience Day or our information session at Celebrate UCI for the most comprehensive overview of our program:
1. Attend Honors Experience Day on the morning of Friday, March 8th (by invitation only). Invitations will be emailed to students in late February. Hear about the CHP and the benefits available to you as an honors student, get your questions answered, and meet honors students, faculty and staff. Meet representatives of UCI’s schools and majors, and take tours of the campus and honors housing.
2. Attend the Campuswide Honors Program Information Session on the morning of Saturday, April 20th. We invite you to attend the CHP information session at UCI’s annual all-campus open house, Celebrate UCI. Anyone who is interested in the CHP is invited to attend. Campus tours and special programs through the Office of Admissions will also be available at Celebrate UCI.
3. If you are unable to attend, and would like to hear about the CHP experience from current students, visit here to sign up to email with a CHP Ambassador. To request a brief on-campus visit with the CHP please email us at chpprospective@uci.edu.
Prospective Transfer Students
1. Attend the Information Session for Honors to Honors Transfer Students on the morning of Saturday, April 20th. Invitations will be emailed to Honors to Honors transfer students in late March for this event, which takes place at UCI’s annual all-campus open house, Celebrate UCI. Come learn about the opportunities available to you as an Honors to Honors transfer student, get your questions answered, and meet CHP staff, faculty, and students. Campus tours will be offered through Celebrate UCI.
2. If you are unable to attend, and would like to hear about the CHP experience from current students, visit here to sign up to email with a CHP Ambassador. To request a brief on-campus visit with the CHP please email us at chpprospective@uci.edu.
