Dillon Dejam (‘16) recently graduated with an M.D. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and has now started a residency program in Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan.

Thanh Le (‘22) expanded on their CHC Thesis to submit to a scientific journal. She is also working at both Crystal Cove State Park and its nonprofit partner Crystal Cove Conservancy, teaching kids about local ecosystems while working on habitat restoration.

Blaine Valencia (‘17) is working as a lawyer, including pro bono work focused on LGBTQ+ civil rights, wrongful convictions, asylum, appeals, and domestic violence.

Kaitlyn Danlinhton (‘20) is attending law school in Washington D.C. and working at the Orange County Public Defender.

Chris Chen (‘16) in the past year, Chris was promoted to a Program Representative position at HCD. He helps get affordable housing built in regions hit by wildfires.

Rebecca Kanter (‘00) was elected in November to be a judge for the San Diego Superior Court and took her oath on January 3, 2023.

Haleigh Sherman (‘21) worked as a teaching assistant in Madrid, Spain for a year and will now be attending Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine to pursue her dream of becoming a physician.

Jonathan Larson (‘17) graduated with his Masters in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics in 2018 and is currently making software at small tech startups.

Nicole Block (‘17) completed her Master of Arts in Art History at the University of Washington, Seattle in June 2023 after working at the J. Paul Getty Museum for several years. She wrote her thesis on three Seattle women artists in the 1930s who received New Deal governmental funding and depicted critical issues of their time.

Lydia Liberio (‘91) was appointed to the American Bar Foundation Fellows, appointed to the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation Board as Secretary, and was elected to the Los Angeles County Bar Association Board of Trustees (the largest county bar in the U.S.) with an election installation on June 22, 2023.

Quynh Theresa Do (‘22) has been working and preparing to apply for graduate schools! She still would like to study gerontology and potentially broaden her research to geriatrics.
