Fall quarter of your senior year is a very busy and important time. Deadlines for scholarship and fellowship applications, and for graduate and professional school admissions come quickly, beginning around October 1. These applications usually require tests, letters of reference, and personal essays/goal statements. Students should not wait until the last minute to start working on them. In fact, you should begin the application process about one year before the deadline.
Those who plan to apply for graduate or professional school, scholarships or fellowships should be aware of all deadlines, requirements, and processes. There will be many workshops and other activities sponsored by the Career and Life Planning Center, the Scholarship Opportunities Program, academic units, and the CHP. Make note of the important deadlines on your calendar and take advantage of the information and help the various workshops/programs provide. We haveinformation and written resources in the Peer Advisors office as well.
