The Campuswide Honors staff hopes you are doing well. We are here to support you as we all adjust together to a new educational environment for Spring Quarter.
The Campuswide Honors staff is working remotely, and we continue to offer a variety of individualized online advising services with options for remote advising and appointments, including research/thesis meetings!
We are available to assist you during Spring Break and throughout Spring Quarter during our regular business hours, Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. (Note that we will be closed Friday of Spring Break for the Cesar Chavez Holiday.)
• When in doubt, email!
The best way to get in touch with an Honors advisor with your questions is to send an email to honors@uci.edu from your @uci.edu email address. honors@uci.edu is monitored by all of the CHC advisors during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00). We will respond to your emails in the order received in a timely manner.
• Research/thesis meetings
We recently (on March 13) contacted students who have not yet completed their mandatory research/thesis meeting. We are continuing to meet with students remotely (via Google Meet, Zoom, or Skype) during Spring Break. Please follow the instructions in that email to complete your meeting as soon as possible.
If you wish to schedule, cancel, or reschedule your research/thesis meeting, you can do so directly via the appointments system appointments.web.uci.edu.
Note: CHC first-year transfer students will be contacted later during Spring Quarter with information about their required Research/Thesis meetings.
• All other advising appointments/meetings
If you wish to schedule an advising appointment (via Google Meet, Skype, or Zoom), you may do so at any time by contacting us through honors@uci.edu.
The Honors PAAs are off for Spring Break, and will be back responding to email and for virtual walk-in advising during Spring Quarter.

Please know there are many details that are still being worked out and we will update you as soon as updates become available. We will spend this week testing systems and moving processes online (such as the thesis submission process). We are also hard at work developing new ways of connecting and continuing the honors community spirit virtually.
