This course is team-taught by professors from the Schools of Social Science and Social Ecology and studies topics from the perspectives of political science, economics, logic and philosophy of science, and psychology, to name only a few. Sample topics have included authority, (dis)obedience and human society; decisions, compromises, and their rewards and penalties; learning and memory; and exotic societies (including our own). (This three quarter course is offered for 6 units each quarter. Offered as Social Sciences H1G-H1F-H1E.)
