Hi, my name is Amora (she/her) and I am one of the Honors Peer Academic Advisors for the Campus Honors Collegium. I am a fourth year Human Biology major, and during my time at UCI, I’ve had the opportunity to get involved in many different ways on campus. In the past 4 years I have joined a prehealth organization on campus, joined mentorship groups as both a mentor and mentee, joined a research lab, become a TA, and an LA, and a PAA. Even though my day to day can be hectic, I make it a point to be intentional and present in the moment, and to look for the beautiful in everything. These involvements challenge me to do that in a new way every day. When I’m not working away I like to bake, check out new places to eat, read, and take pictures (especially of the sky). I am also a big fan of Marvel and Disney, so it is very common to catch me quoting these in conversation. I love getting to know new people, so feel free to email me or drop by my office hours if you’d like to chat about anything at all.
