I am thrilled to be returning to UCI and to the CHP as an Honors advisor. As an undergraduate student, I participated in both the CHP and the Humanities Honors Program. When I was not attending lectures or office hours, I “lived” in the Locus, and I look forward to once again helping out with and hanging out at Coffee Hour. After graduating from UCI in 2005 with a degree in English and minors in French and History, I attended the University of Cambridge, and received my Master’s degree in English Studies. I am currently completing a Ph.D. in Literary Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, researching how distraction operates in eighteenth-century British poetry and visual culture.

At UW-Madison, I taught undergraduates in both literature and composition courses. As a Writing Center Instructor and a Pre-Health Advisor, I have advised students on a range of writing projects (from essays to applications) and co- and extra-curricular activities (from research to volunteering). I am excited to put all my teaching and advising experience to work for you all.

When we’re finished discussing 4-year plans or thesis research, I welcome the opportunity to chat about the arts—high, low, and everything in between. I also love to sing and dance.

I look forward to meeting you all!
